We are getting a puppy! What classes should we take?
Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy II and Puppy III are designed to train your puppy as they grow. Each class builds on each other to advance your puppies training as they mature. These classes, together, prepare your puppy to be the best canine!
What do I need to bring to class?
On your first day of class at Jodie Vee’s you should bring a completed copy of your medical form signed by your vet. Your puppy on a standard leash (no retractable leashes, please!) and collar or harness (no pinch/poke or shock collars).
Please be sure that you wear close toed and comfortable shoes. We also recommend dressing in layers as through the summer and winter months the temperature fluctuates.
We have an older dog that needs training, where do we start?
Canine Basic Manners Level 1 is a great place to start! This class will start with the basics to begin to build the relationship between you and your dog in training. The skills taught in this class are the cornerstones for the classes to follow.
We brought our puppy to a training class but did not complete the series. Now that they are older and needing a refresher - what class should we choose?
We recommend starting at Canine Basic Manners Level 1, this class will allow us to ensure that the basic foundation skills are accomplished before moving into the more advanced skills.
When is the next set of classes starting?
Classes run for six weeks with a one week intermission between sessions. Please follow us on our Facebook page to stay informed when registration is open for the next session!
